FT Line Cook
Pau Hana has a quality kitchen team in place and is looking for one full time line cook to fill out our ranks. Preferred schedule is Thursday-Sunday nights, with opportunity for a 5th shift depending on availability. We will be flexible for the right candidate, though.
This is a great opportunity for someone with high-volume kitchen experience to grow their culinary knowledge and get exposure to several different cuisines. Pau Hana serves "Hawaiian Regional Cuisine," which is essentially a culinary melting pot of all the different immigrant cultures that make up the population of the Hawaiian Islands. This includes Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Filipino, Pacific Islander, and more. Experience with Asian fusion is a plus but not required. Experience on a high-volume line is preferred.
Starting wage is $18-$23/hour (DOQ), plus a share of the BOH tip pool (share of the takeout tips, typically another $1-$2 per hour).
